Volunteers

St. John is always in need of new volunteers to assist in our service to the community. All of our members are volunteers and give over 4000 man-hours every year.

Volunteers for St. John are required to be from the age of sixteen (16) and above, and eligibility is not dependent on social status. In fact we enjoy taking on members from different walks of life, as it enhances the experience for everyone.

Volunteers not only use the first aid skills they possess, but also learn valuable new skills through training exercises, and experience in the field.

However, supporting SJA in the form of volunteering is not restricted to field duties. We also gladly accept help in operating the branch office.
